A bridge is “a structure carrying a road, path, railroad or canal across a river, ravine, road, railroad, or other obstacles,” according to Webster’s dictionary. We are the 2017 Visual Communication students, and as grad class we were invited to respond to this theme of Bridge. The grad class was inspired to extend their insight in their chosen fine art or design field in order to communicate their own personal message to the public. The result is a diverse collection of art & design that invites the public to associate their own interpretation of what each student was working on within the constraints of the theme Bridge. Our visual communications program is home to acutely diverse talent. The 23 students within the graduate class contributing to the show each have their own unique processes and special mechanisms that display the cumulative knowledge of our three years spent in this program. We invite you to join us on our creative journey throughout this process.
